Events FREE Community Hop Sock "Hot Summer Nights":  Saturday, August 16, 5:00-7:00 pm.  Everyone is welcome to join in this fun time.  We'll dance the night away to a professional 60's band while enjoying free refreshments and a bouncy house the the kids.  Come and get to know those in your neighborhood!!! FREE Community Picnic at Lowell Park: Sunday, August 24 starting at 12:30 pm.  We want to get to know our wonderful neighbors!!  Please come enjoy food, games and conversation at our annual Community Picnic event. Thanksgiving Service: This service is held each year in November, the Sunday before Thanksgiving at 6:30 pm. Come and enjoy a time of singing, giving thanks for all you’ve been blessed with and a short relevant message. Carols Candles & Communion: This service is held the first Sunday in December at 6:30 pm. Please come and celebrate with us the beginning of the Christmas season with the singing of carols, the lighting of candles (you are encouraged to bring your favorite candle for display) and communion. This is a wonderful time to focus on what Christmas is all about before getting caught up in the hustle and bustle that entangles us each year during the holiday season. Christmas Eve Candle Light Service: This service is held each year on December 24 at 6:00 pm. At this serve you are invited to take a breath from the stresses of the holiday season. Taking the time with your family to remember that “Jesus is the reason for the season”. Maundy Thursday Service: This service is held each year the Thursday before Easter at 6:30 pm. At this service we put ourselves in the place of the disciples and picture how that last night of communion with Jesus might have been. This is a very moving time of reflection on Jesus and the sacrifice He chose to make for each of us at the Cross.
