Replenish. Senior High youth group (grades 9-12) meets Thursday
nights from 6:45-8:30 pm (in the youth room 117/118).
CHAOS - Christ Has All Our Solutions. Junior High youth group
(grades 6-8) meets Sunday nights from 6:45-8:30 pm (in the youth room
117/118).
Grow. This youth covenant group for both junior and senior high
is now forming. We will be studying the spiritual disciplines and how
to grow closer to the Lord. See Melanie for an application or more
information.
Sunday School: Sunday school for all ages meets every Sunday
from 9:15-10:15 am. For the youth, senior high meets in the youth room
(room 117/118) and junior high meets in the fellowship hall.

Youth Ministry
Parent Meetings:
Parents please join us for a youth group parent night on either
March 8 (sr high) or March 11 (jr high). We meet from 6:45-8:30 pm
and would love to have you join all of the fun! We will conclude
with snacks and a parent meeting at 8:15 pm each night.
Vision Quest for
Senior High:
Registrations for Vision Quest (March 2-3) at Trinity
Lutheran College is past due, speak with
Melanie right away if you want to attend.
The cost is $30 and the registration forms are in the youth room. Sorry
about the short notice, TLC forgot to mail us the information.
Thursday Night
Volunteer Needed:
We have many youth who want to attend Replenish (senior high youth group) on
Thursday nights, but have trouble finding a ride. If you could pick-up
and drop off kids in either south Everett or Marysville for our 6:45-8:30 pm
meeting please speak to Melanie. It’s so sad to have kids miss this
time to grow with the Lord when they want to be here!! If we have
multiple volunteers we could set-up a rotation, and we can reimburse for gas
expenses.
Grow Applications
due:
The youth Covenant group “Grow” is now forming. It will be an
intense time to grow in the Lord by studying the Spiritual Disciplines
(prayer, worship, fasting, etc). We will meet every other week
until summer and there will be Bible and “time with the Lord” homework.
If you are interested please apply, we will structure meeting times and
place around those who apply. The application is on the youth
table, ask Melanie if you have any questions.
A group guitar lesson will meet before Grow, see Melanie if you are
interested.
Youth Fundraiser...
Have you registered for
eScrip yet? This easy fundraising program links
your Safeway card and debit or credit cards to a fundraising
account for CHIC. Your everyday purchases help our
students!

Also through eScrip the youth
are now collecting empty inkjet cartridges, empty toner
cartridge (in their box), and used cell phones. There
is a receptacle in the Fellowship Hall (labeled "eScrip
recycling") with a list of accepted items. The items
will be recycled and money will be donated to CHIC. We
can also "adopt" businesses, so if your business throws away
a number of these items call the church about getting a
receptacle for your office.
