Worship Times Sunday Bible Education is offered each Sunday morning at 9:15 am for all ages. Our goal is to educate at every age level so each person can make knowledgeable choices in life. Our Worship Celebration starts at 10:30 am. We minister to all age levels with a music program consisting of contemporary and traditional styles, messages that are relevant with the issues we face on a daily basis and opportunities for individuals to share their talents (singing, playing instruments, drama, poetry, dance etc.). During our Worship Celebration we offer nursery child care for infants-preschool, Children’s Church for preschool-5th grade & R.O.L. ("Rays of Light" singing group) every third Sunday for 5th-8th graders. SUMMER MONTHS (JULY & AUGUST): During the summer months we do not offer Sunday school, Children’s Church or R.O.L. We think it’s important for our teachers and volunteers to have a break and a time of refreshment. Our Worship Celebration starts a little early at 10:20 am. During these extra 10 minutes we sing requested songs to start out our time of worship. Worshipers here at First Covenant come from a variety of Christian traditions. Any expression of worship which enhances your encounter with God, such as making the sign of the cross, lifting your hands, kneeling, or doing none of those things is not only appropriate but is welcome here. We encourage everyone to bring their Bible to church and follow along in the Scripture as the pastor speaks. For those who do not have their Bibles with them there are Bibles available for use (regular & large print). If you don’t have a Bible of your own, see the Pastor. We’d like you to have one.
